OK . . . the moment has officially arrived! Random number generators have been consulted, and the results are in! The winner of an Easter dress is . . .

And, I'm afraid that there are several Jens who entered, so just to keep confusion to a minimum, here is her comment:

Oh boy - what a purse! We have one in red swirls, but one daughter has outgrown it and one is a couple years away. It is the prettiest, best-fitting, most well-made dress we have ever had. I LOVE the cornflower.

What is a "fortnightly purse" precisely?

Well you know what a fortnight is, I presume. If not then we'll have to back up and start from the beginning.

A fortnight is 2 weeks. And a purse . . . well it's a handbag of course. But, follow me closely here, that's not the sense in which we use the word here. In this particular instance, the word purse is used with its racing (gasp!) or gambling (worse and worse!) connotations. A prize in fact. A giveaway in other words. A chance to win every 2 weeks!

How to enter:

So how does one go about entering the drawing for the purse? Quite simple and straightforward really. Simply leave a comment in the comment section under the post. Easy-peasy. What sort of comment? Anything really. If you're bored with commenting then tell me about the weather. Recite a little poem. Give us your best cooking tip. But whatever you happen to say, it will enter your name in the drawing for this fortnight's purse.

But - there's a chance for a double entry! Link to this post and you'll get entered a second time! One tiny detail to bear in mind however. You have to tell me that you linked and give the address (link to your link as it were) or else I might not notice that you did so.
