The zig-zag Fancy Free Dress!
I adore this dress. It's very low-key and super summery.
And of course, anyone who would fit this dress also needs a Skirty to wear underneath! So it would clearly be remiss of me to not also include in the purse . . .
So hurry up and leave your comments to be entered . . . and don't forget to link and you'll get an extra entry!
I know you want to pick me this time. I don't have any daughters yet (maybe next time?), but I have a niece who would look *positively adorable* decked in this summery flair.

Here is what I (Brittany Russell Lewis)said: "If you have little girls, you have to check this site out - the designs have been recently featured in parents' magazines and her dresses have been appearing in indie rock videos, too. A giveaway is underway for a free dress and skirty (don't you want to know what that is?). Check it out!Amoretti Purse

ReplyDeleteI keep hoping (should I pray?) to win a purse! Thanks for these giveaways! I love this dress.

ReplyDeleteI just started learning how to sew and made myself a simple dress for someone's wedding! My next inclination is to make a real simple jumper for my 13 year-old kid sister (still have to find that REALLY easy pattern- hence, still a beginner). At least this way I will have gone a step closer in the jumper direction. If she wins, "Woopeee!" If not, well I still have some time to whip up a summer dress before summer's out. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteP.S.- One thing I admire about your dresses is that they're modest (not a turtle-neck-on-a-hot-day-modest, but nice-modest)- even I'd like to wear one if I'd fit! Unfortunately though, not all of us have the gift of smallness. Alas, some of us are just 'built to last' - that's all!
Please let us know if you do start making 'big people' clothes! You might just get a stampede of women folk at your store!
Thanks,
April
Glad you're home safe and sound, Bekah. :) We would love one of your sweet dresses.
ReplyDeleteOh, good, this dress was my fav of the two. I have a little brown-eyed beauty who'd look great in it :o)

ReplyDeletewell. I have become a "gambeling" woman out of my desire to see my sweet grandaughter in this "purse"!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! My daughter obviously needs something that gorgeous to frolic about in.
ReplyDeleteA friend sent me a link to your site. HOW ADORABLE! You are an inspiring woman. I have five kids myself and have been working on ONE dress for my oldest (whose 8) and can't seem to get around to finishing it! (I'm still learning to sew.) So, perhaps I can win one for her and get one for her sister. Or get one for my niece who hands down her clothes to my oldest which will then go to my second... :-) Your clothes are beautiful and I love to style and simplicity. Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteYou do beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to the U.S. - the new dresses are fantastic!

My daughters and I love your dresses. Actually we love the skirts too, but it is the dresses that we have for now. Simple elegance- for years that is what I have told my husband I wish we could get back to. You have done it! My two girls love their cherry dot dresses. I cannot tell you the number of times the girls have worn their dresses, I love the simple everyday beauty of them.

ReplyDeleteHowdy! My father grew up in Idaho...it is absolutely beautiful there. Lake McCall is my favorite spot! I saw your ad in World magazine - and I had to check it out as soon as possible, as I have 2 girls! You mentioned leaving a recipe - so here goes. This was the word around our neighborhood last week. Line a bread pan with wax paper, place one layer of ice cream sandwiches (any flavor, cut to fit the pan), top with a layer of whipped cream, another layer of ice cream sandwiches, another layer of whipped cream and top with a crushed up chocolate candy bar. Store in freezer until you serve it. Easy! Simple! Slice to serve and it looks like a layered gourmet dessert! Yum!
ReplyDeleteI love this dress, so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIn the rural parts of Missouri every click on the computer counts. At 26.4 Kbps internet connection speed, it's tough going that extra mile. I am glad, however, that I clicked one more time to enter for the purse.
